Even using Google Chrome...

You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to solve the CAPTCHA below.
Username:

Password:

I forgot my password
Resend activation e-mail
Please type the 3rd and the fourth letters of "Gecko":
This question is a means of preventing automated form submissions by spambots.

when i type ck for the captcha it loops back to the first prompt. Username and Password.

The crazy thing is that the website seems to have no time limit to reset the max login attempts.
Once you reach the limit, you are stuck there forever.

Sorry, I missed something from your OP -

I was able to reset my password...

Are you sure about that? I see no sign of any password change in the mod logs for the johnrw account.

Thank You for that..
Funny thing I went to SeaMonkey and got the latest which I thought it said it was based on Firefox 52.9.0 ESR on the Welcome screen.

This is all I can find now:
SeaMonkey 2.49.4 uses the same backend as Firefox and contains the relevant Firefox 52.9.0 ESR security fixes.

Thanks for all the great options!
I'm going to give SeaMonkey a whirl!

In any case, I have seen this (the original) behavior at least 3 times now.
When reported, when I realized Allow Global was also affected, & this morning (when I went to visit aldi.us & saw this & other issues).

And I'm not able to duplicate the issue - presently.

InformAction.com sent me a new password. It did not say it would expire... just a new password.
I would have to login to actually change my password.

This option doesn't work anymore on Fx 4.
Just grab latest NoScritp version from http://noscript.net/getit#direct (2.1.0.1 or above) and NoScript's settings will be transparently synchronized with the other Firefox preferences.

Thanks for the link.

"Exit" option on Firefox for Android with NoScript

Hi,

I've been using NoScript 10.1.9.8 on FireFox 62.0.3 for Android.
NoScript adds its option as second-to-last in the FireFox menu - which is useful and great.

Hoever, lately, I believe NoScript started removing the "Exit" option from FireFox's menu from time to time.
If I disable NoScript, this issue doesn't happen.

This happens after surfing for a while, so I'm not sure what causes it.
It sometimes happens almost instantly if I choose "Paste and Go" on FireFox's toolbar, but not if I choose "Paste".
Once it happens, the Exit option never comes back until I close all firefox screens, and re-launch it

Any help would be appreciated

Forgot to mention:
The "Exit" option is always last in the menu, which is why I suspected NoScript to begin with...
My hypothesis was that while it inserts and removes its second-to-last option, it by accident also removes the "Exit"

Hello.

I would like to answer to short barbaz phrase. I mean: "If you would like to request change in the UI...". That's true and You could start a new thread and write about your ideas etc. It's really amazing and simple. Here is a list of four threads about NoScript v10 User Interface, some technical changes, that I created:

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=25149
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24434
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24668
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=25108

Unfortunately, I don't have a direct links to another threads. However, they still should be available somewhere on informaction forum. Anyway, I have some more ideas for both aspects: UI and technical/core functionality etc.

Good luck, No enjoying it!

Best regards.

Flashgot is dead. period.

safe to say there is nothing like it all?

That's what is even more amazing.. that not a single person in the entire world has made a copy cat of what Flashgot does. Not even anyone associated with JDownloader or the likes.

You are not the dev, it's not up to you to declare it dead.

(New)Can't open youtube in URL bar unless disable in Firefox

Suddenly when I type anything with youtube.com in the address bar in Firefox 61.0.2 with NoScript 10.1.6.2 or 10.1.9.8 it won't load the page (and the URL bar remains as e.g. https://www.google.com). Also I can't load any page with youtube.com from the History pane in Firefox. And get this: I can't even go "Back" (alt left-arrow) to a page with youtube. All of this bizarreness goes away when I open Firefox Add-ons page and disable NoScript. NoScript is preventing me from loading anything with youtube.com in this fashion. However, I can load those same videos by clicking on a link to them in Google. And they're fine if they were already in my Firefox Session. The URL bar and History and browser-back and browser-forward methods of loading youtube pages is suddenly farkled.

This just began happening in the past week, perhaps (coincidentally?) when I installed FX 61.0.2 (62.0.3 seemed to be slow so I loaded the prior FX version). I'm just mentioning that even though I would not think it to be meaningful.

Green lighting youtube.com is not the solution. That does permit videos to play but the problem with typing them in the URL bar remains.

Other domains are fine. I've only seen the problem with youtube.

I'm not seeing this in Firefox 61.0.2, NoScript 10.1.9.8, new profile, following these steps -

1) open a new tab, go to google.com

2) Paste a Youtube video link in the URL bar, hit Enter

The Youtube video page loaded fine, video played fine.

Does disabling all extensions other than NoScript get it working for you? (Tools > Add-ons Manager)

Thanks for testing. With NoScript as the only add-on (everything else disabled), failure. Disable NoScript, works. Bizarre.

I'll now try a new profile, and maybe refresh the old profile. I'm reluctant to refresh because it sounds like I would lose about:config customizations.

If the new profile works for you, please try exporting your entire NoScript settings from your main profile (NoScript Options > Export), and importing them into the new profile. Does the issue then show up in the new profile?

Took a long time to happen again. Probably because I posted about it. The picture loads on Bing when it normally does not load when it is blocked correctly and I have links at the top I normally don't have when its blocked correctly.

I've been toiling with shaping a new profile to imitate the old one step by step. You just did me an enormous favor because I didn't know about this Export; I just read your message while preparing to customize 60 sites one by one as before with screen prints and - yuck.

Your help is highly useful and appreciated, and right on point. But I've been at it for 11 straight hours so I need to walk away now and I'll report back later.
