Hello:
Thanks for your help troubleshooting...Yes the toolbar does not appear.
Also thanks for the shortcut abbreviations to the Error console:
No Errors, no warnings with Penango, but a Message with this verbage:
d 4 jsdump Msg:string
Firefox Button: Penango Menu: Already Exists, aborting.
in addMenuItems/<@chrome://penango/content/overlay.xul:405 @ 0ms
This error repeats if the browser remains open...
I have the same issue with NoScript turned to the Global off setting, which I only temporarily did!
Am going to send a post to penango with this info. I also noticed that the OAuth popup at the bottom of the page did not appear, as it previously did in Firefox, and does in IE when the program loads. I assume above that there is some issue with toolbar in Firefox that causes a java script dump? Some hidden part of the program.
I have also tried to remove the other plugins (Ad Block Plus, Evernote web clipper, Wise Stamp, and Active Inbox) and install penango only, but they also leave a persistent error when uninstalled. I can only think that something happened on the Firefox 20 update that broke the toolbar, or at least the Penango portion of it. With 20 there are additional settings visible under the top menu that did not exist for penango, like certificates and program settings, and the new version of Penango 2.3.7 which is supposed to work with the new composer in Gmail (which I have been avoiding, since wisestamp and penango were not compatible).
